Miniature bear August

For some months, an image has been living in my mind: an old teddy bear in dark red. I have seen it somewhere, he looked worn out, antique, and perhaps even unloved. I don't even know why has he stolen my heart... Of course, I needed someone like him.

After he had been finally ready, I showed him to my mother.
My mom said: "He looks like the ones there were when I was a child. But in those days a toy like this was too expensive for our family..."

He is naive and looks at the world with eyes full of wonder—just like we as children did...

August is only three centimeters tall. He has his own home – a walnut shell, beautifully decorated especially for Christmas with snowflakes, a snowman decoration and a friend – a gingerbread man. Of course, he is also crochet like August.

He is jointed the head with a traditional disc and pin, the paws are connected by threads.
